Area Minister Braces for Showdown
An area minister and family who cannot pay interest because of their religious convictions are bracing themselves for a confrontation with TD Canada Trust. He has barricaded himself inside his Onoway area home. Edward-Jay-Robin Belanger, a Minister with the Church of Ecumenical Redemption International said he is expecting a move by the Bank, its lawyer and the Sheriff in the immediate future.
"This is my familial sanctuary, my place of worship and ministry. I will stand firm in my belief that bowing to false gods, usury and coveting run contrary to God's Laws. I cannot submit! I'm prepared to stand for my faith at all costs, to fight the good fight, in the hope others will realize what is happening in this great country of ours," said Belanger.
"This country is still governed under God's Law of the King James Bible and that's a fact. I will stand and be a defender of the faith. I cannot allow them into God's house. I cannot allow my wife and children to be thrown out into the snow and let God's church be defiled," stated Minister Belanger.
Minister Belanger also has knowledge many lawyers acting on behalf of banks do not live up to nor know the meaning of their true allegiance. This means they are imposters. According to the Minister, Canada's designation as a Commonwealth country makes the Queen of England its head, he reminds us the Queen is also the head of the Church of England and the Defender of the Faith.
The Minister believes it is time for Canadian citizens to look at the country's taxation, legal and banking systems through more analytical eyes. "The government, banks and credit companies love to pull the citizens of this country into debt."
While the Minister is not sure when to expect the attempted seizure of his Church, he is sure of one thing, he is standing firm in his faith, no matter what the cost.
